Mission Statement: Our mission is to lead people to faith and growth in Christ.
Our Mission Statement and Core Values
-
Biblical preaching & teaching
We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God. The Scriptures are the complete, error-free revelation of God’s plan for humanity. Because of this truth, we are dedicated to reaching the lost and growing believers through the truthful, accurate teaching of the Bible. (Second Timothy 3:16-17)
-
Missions
We, like our God, value lost people; therefore, we seek to save those who are lost in all parts of the world by every Christ-honoring means. (Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:15; Luke 19:10; Acts 1:8; Romans 10:14-15)
-
Worship
We value worshiping the true, living God by faith and with thanksgiving through the guidance of the Holy Spirit and inspiration of Scripture. We seek - through individual, family, and corporate means - to encourage the priesthood of the believer, with an emphasis on the praise and adoration of our Heavenly Father. (Psalm 95:6; 100; John 4:24; Romans 12:1; Hebrews 10:1; First Chronicles 16:29)
-
Family
We believe the institution of family is of divine origin and purpose. Therefore, we are committed to encouraging quality and health in our families. We support biblical principles as a solid foundation for family life. (Matthew 19:4-6; Ephesians 5:21, 25, 28, 33; 6:1; Deuteronomy 6:6-7; Proverbs 1:8; 22:6)
-
fellowship
We value Christian fellowship through authentic and loving relationships, meeting members’ needs, and spending quality time together. (Acts 2:42; First John 1:3)
-
prayer
We believe in the power of prayer, both corporate and private. The ministries and activities of this church will be characterized by a reliance on prayer. (Matthew 7:7-11; James 5:12-18)
-
discipleship
We value making believers into disciples through Bible study, prayer, worship, witnessing, ministry, fellowship, and stewardship. (Matthew 28:19-20; First Timothy 4:7; Second Peter 3:18)
-
evangelism
We value all people and will seek to share the good news of the gospel with our lost family members, friends, neighbors, coworkers, and others. We will seek to lead them into a personal relationship with Christ and into lifelong discipleship. (Matthew 28:19-20; Luke 19:10; Acts 2:40-47; Romans 1:16)
