There will be a special-called business meeting on Wednesday, February 5 at 5:45 p.m. in Orr Fellowship Hall for the purpose of hearing a recommendation from the Minister of Students Search Committee. The committee recommends that Stephen Burns be called as the next student minister at FBC.

Members will be given an opportunity to hear from both the committee and Stephen during the meeting. The committee will then make a formal recommendation to the church. There will also be a time of discussion before a formal vote by secret ballot.

Aside from the Family Night Meal at 5 p.m., there will be no other regular activities held that evening. Adult choir practice and orchestra rehearsal will be held as usual, beginning at 7 p.m.

Paris Convention Center

Radio Auction begins at Noon

Information cards for donated items are available in the CLC and Welcome Center. Items can be dropped off at the Paris Convention Center from 3 to 5 p.m. on Friday, February 14, or on the day of the auction between 7 and 9 a.m.

In the event of inclement weather, the decision to cancel or adjust any scheduled or special service of FBC Paris will be made as early as possible. Information pertaining to the cancellation or adjustment of Sunday morning services will be announced on local radio stations and published on the church's website and Facebook page. A decision to cancel or adjust the schedule for Sunday evenings will be announced at the conclusion of Sunday morning worship services. For Wednesday evening activities, if the Paris Special School District does not have classes on Wednesday, all evening activities at the church will be canceled. In the event of impending weather when school is in session, the decision to cancel services will be made by noon and announced in the same manner as above.
